In a control and surveillance operation at the El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá, the Colombian Immigration authorities stopped short the claims of a Costa Rican citizen who was seeking to enter the national territory.
After a thorough background check and cross-checking of data with international agencies, the entity detected that the woman represents an imminent danger to national security.
The foreigner, who arrived in the Colombian capital on a flight from San José, Costa Rica, did not count on the fact that the early warning systems were already tracking her.

According to intelligence reports shared between both countries, the woman is currently facing two criminal proceedings in force in her nation of origin: one for illicit enrichment and another for assault with weapons. However, the fact that most alarmed Immigration officials was his record related to the recruitment of women and girls for commercial sexual exploitation.

Investigations indicate that this person used the facade of a frequent traveler to recruit victims in various countries, with the aim of transporting them outside their borders to be exploited.
