A 15-year-old teenager lived a true nightmare in the town of Usme, after being the victim of a brutal attack in her own home. The authorities confirmed the prosecution of Franklyn Ruiz, identified as the person allegedly responsible for kidnapping and sexually abusing the minor, who suffers from a cognitive disability.
The events, which have generated deep indignation in the south of the capital, occurred on January 17. According to the Prosecutor’s file, Ruiz not only stalked the victim, but also broke into his home violently after breaking the glass of a window.
Once inside the property, the subject restrained the minor and, against her will, moved her to his own home. There, for approximately four hours, he held her illegally and subjected her to multiple sexual abuses that caused her various physical injuries.
