The Colombia Women’s U-20 National Team already has the roadmap defined for its participation in the next CONMEBOL South American, which will take place from February 4 to 28.
The national team, under the technical direction of Carlos Paniagua, will seek one of the places at the FIFA World Cup in Poland, facing a high-intensity initial phase in Paraguayan territory.
The contest will take place in two stages: a preliminary phase and a final phase. In the first instance, ten teams divided into two groups will compete under the “all against all” system.
Colombia is part of Group A, where it will have to measure its strength against the teams of Paraguay, Venezuela, Chile and Uruguay. Only the three best teams from each zone will advance to the final hexagonal, where the four best teams will obtain a direct ticket to the World Cup event.
All matches of the Colombian National Team in this first stage are scheduled for 4:00 PM (Colombia time).
