The representative to the House, Jennifer Pedraza, turned on the fan again on what appears to be an unprecedented academic corruption scheme in the country.

In a recent complaint, the congresswoman put the veracity of the degrees obtained by Juliana Guerrero at the San José University Foundation under scrutiny, revealing evidence that suggests that the woman would have obtained her professional diploma even before paying the costs of her tuition and her degree fees.

According to the congresswoman’s findings, after a detailed search in the DIAN databases, a temporal inconsistency was detected that defies any school administrative logic.

The recorded invoices show that, although the degree certificate is dated July 1, 2025, Guerrero made three significant payments to the institution on dates after his supposed ceremony.

“It is the first case of a student graduating before even paying tuition”Pedraza questioned, pointing out that this modality would confirm the existence of a network dedicated to the commercialization of university degrees without compliance with the minimum legal requirements.

This new scandal adds to a previous complaint in which it was pointed out that Juliana Guerrero would not have taken the Saber Pro Tests either, an essential requirement for any graduating student in Colombia.

The situation has put in check the credibility of the San José University Foundation, an institution that today is accused by Pedraza of operating as a “cartel” of diplomas.

The representative was emphatic in requesting the Ministry of Education for immediate intervention that includes the removal of its directors, as well as a call to attention to the Attorney General’s Office for the lack of surveillance and control over these educational centers.
