The technical director Carlos Paniagua has made official the list of 25 players who will make up the last microcycle of preparation of the Colombia Women’s U-20 National Team.
This call marks the final preparation phase of the national team, which seeks to arrive in optimal conditions at the CONMEBOL U-20 championship that will be held soon in Paraguayan territory.
The concentration will take place from January 16 to 31 at the Sports Headquarters of the Colombian Football Federation in Bogotá.
During these two weeks, the coaching staff will work intensely on the tactical coupling and physical preparation of the group, before embarking on the trip to Asunción, Paraguay, host city of the continental competition.
The call stands out for a solid base of the local league, with a majority presence of players from Independiente Santa Fe, added to talents from Deportivo Cali, Atlético Nacional and Millonarios.

Likewise, the team will have the contribution of international figures such as Sintia Cabezas from Levante (Spain), Maithe López from Angel City (USA) and Marleidy Cossio from Racing Club (Argentina), balancing foreign experience with the pace of the Colombian professional tournament.
With this call, the Colombian National Team reaffirms its commitment to being a protagonist in the category, betting on leading names such as goalkeeper Luisa Agudelo and midfielder Juana Ortegón.
The country hopes that the “warriors” achieve an outstanding performance in Paraguay that will allow them to secure a place in the next World Cup event in the category.
