The FCF, through its Refereeing Directorate, carried out this Wednesday, February 4, the rigorous qualification tests for referees aspiring to category A and FIFA.

This day, developed under the strictest guidelines of the National Arbitration Commission (CAN), had the main objective of guaranteeing that the judges in charge of administering justice in Colombian Professional Soccer and in international tournaments meet the physical and technical standards required by the highest body in world soccer.

After a series of high-intensity evaluations, it was confirmed that a total of 18 officers achieved the necessary certification to operate during the first half of 2026.

The selected group is made up of seven central referees, four assistants and seven specialists in the VAR system, who demonstrated to be in optimal conditions to face the demands of high competition.
